There are a huge amount of possible examinations to choose from and you should be competent to perform all of them by finals. Pick ones from our examination notes page and examine each other. Read through the notes to check you covered everything and use our generic OSCE examination marksheet.

 

Coming soon

In early clinical years, you will normally be examining normal volunteers so just practice on each other. In later clinical years, however, you will have patients with stable chronic diseases (commonest examples shown here). Try to seek patients out on the wards with these conditions and examine them while your colleague assesses you under exam conditions.

 

Use your medical school’s timing and remember to give a 1-2 minute remaining bell as your medical school would normally do. Timer link:
